Book Review: “The Night Raven”

❤️Review (no spoilers): Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was an easy read. From a writer’s viewpoint, I love that it is written in 3rd person, as urban fantasy is often written in 1st and I tend to write in 3rd. I read this book as a possible comp book for my current WIP novel, and I think it can fit, though there’s nothing graphic in here. The characters are fairly interesting, and the book sets up the world pretty well. I didn’t voraciously consume this book like I have some books, which is why I’ve gone with a 4.5 rating. I was able to put it down throughout the day. The main character was NOT annoying, which is always good. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series!
